Welder/Fabricator

Rankin Construction Inc. is looking for a full-time CWB certified welder to join the team!

Welder Requirements:

• Well-rounded in the use of welding equipment, including setting the machine appropriately
• Able to weld in various positions including flat, vertical, horizontal and overhead
• Be able to lift over 50 LBS and stand for extended periods of time
• Task focused and emphasis on productivity, safety and quality
• Reading and interpret blueprints
• Able to effectively utilize grinder, torch cutting, plasma cutting, arc gouging, saws, and drills
• Maintain equipment
• Follow directions given
• An individual who is a team player
• Rigging - safe lifting & moving of machinery and heavy components

Candidate qualifications:

• Must possess minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience
• CWB certified welder holding SMAW (shielded metal arc welding) ticket
• Valid G driver license with a reliable vehicle
• Must be able to work

This is a Unionized position; we are affiliated with Local 6 with CLAC.
