Accounts Payable/ Payroll Clerk
A progressive and diversified construction company with offices in St. Catharines and Hamilton is looking for an experienced Accounts Payable / Payroll Clerk to work at our St. Catharine’s office. You will be responsible for matching and coding invoices, data entry, filing, handling payment inquiries, and assisting other departments when required including reception.
Education/Experience:
- Successful completion of a Post-Secondary Certificate/Diploma (1 year or more) in Accounting or Business field or related program or approved combination of education and experience
Qualifications:
- Completion of post-secondary Accounting or Business Administration program or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Construction industry experience an asset
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient with Excel, Word, Access, Microsoft Office Suite
- Database software knowledge an asset
- Payroll experience an asset
- Experience with sub-contractor payouts would be an asset
- Experience working with Jonas Software a plus!
