In 2004 Bruce Power contracted Rankin Construction to design/build a rifle range on site for its security forces. Rankin Construction designed the range to meet and/or exceed Canadian Standards for Firing Ranges.
The Range consists of 8m high earth berms all the way around. Timber Baffles designed to absorb ammunition were installed at calculated intervals to ensure that ammunition could not escape the range itself.
A sheet pile wall was designed & installed at the target berm for ease of removing ammunition without having to reconstruct.
