Rankin was the general contractor of the 45 Million dollar Queenston-Lewiston Bridge rehabilitation project which was completed within 11 months of the start of construction. The tight timeline, difficult access, post 9/11 international border issues, and the requirement to maintain international car and truck traffic during all phases of construction made this project a real challenge. Regardless of the above challenges, this project was a complete success as it was completed safely, ahead of schedule, and within the Niagara Falls Bridge Commission budget.
