The Niagara Health System's new hospital is the largest construction project ever undertaken in the City of St. Catharines. We were subcontracted by PCL contractors to complete all of the site servicing, building excavation and backfill, internal roads and parking lot construction on the 39 acre site. The scope of work included several miles of sewer and watermain installation, electrical excavation and backfill, mechanical excavation and backfill, nearly 100,000 m3 of bulk and detailed building excavation and backfill, curbs, granular and asphalt for parking lots and roads.
