Port Cares is a out-reach centre located in Port Colborne, ON created in 1986 to provide vital services to the communities of Port Colborne, Wainfleet, surrounding areas. The aim of the initiative is to provide help, hope, and opportunity to all to achieve their potential and improve their quality of life.
In 2023, Rankin was contracted through Port Cares to develop and construct a new 41-unit five-storey residential building in Port Colborne, ON. The development was initiated in an effort to provide affordable housing solutions to those who need it the most. The building completed in January 2025, fully equipped for occupancy including a functioning multi-purpose room. The project was fully funded through the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC).
