Rankin Construction was contracted by the Region of Niagara to complete the GO Station Redevelopment project in the Western Hill district of St. Catharines, ON. This project is a culmination of four different projects including the removal of the existing CN Rail bridge, reconstruction of a new bridge structure, construction of a round-about and access roadways into the GO Station, and reconstruction of the GO Station parking lot. In addition to the general scope: underground infrastructure, site servicing, precast concrete retaining walls, landscaping and asphalt paving will be completed through all construction zones.
Along Ridley Road, GO Station access road, and within the GO Station parking lot, Rankin is completing the installation and upgrades to existing underground utilities, including: storm sewers, sanitary sewers, watermain, oil-grit separators, and numerous chambers and vaults.
