What will my role be?
The Payroll & Equipment Clerk role ensures payroll is processed accurately and on time while maintaining organized records.
As a Payroll & Equipment Clerk you will:
- Enter and maintain employee payroll data in company systems.
- Review and verify timesheets, payroll summaries, and related documentation for accuracy.
- Maintain organized electronic and physical records for payroll and employee information.
- Assist with the preparation and processing of payroll documentation and reports.
- Track and enter employee hours, leave records, and payroll adjustments as directed.
- Support management and accounting staff with data entry and record updates.
- Assist with preparation, filing, and distribution of internal reports and correspondence.
- Respond to routine administrative and payroll-related inquiries from staff.
- Perform general office administrative duties including filing, document control, and record management; and assisting other departments.

What we’re looking for!
Are you a collaborative and driven individual with:
- Complete of post-secondary Accounting or Business Administration program or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Construction Industry experience is an asset.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel.
- Accounting software knowledge is an asset.
- Payroll experience is an asset.
- Experience working with Jonas Software.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform accurate data entry and maintain organized records.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Ability to handle confidential employee and payroll information with professionalism and discretion.
